The Sequel remains in limbo, but I'm very pleased with the five pages I'd written in August. I don't have writer's block in the usual way; I can't bring myself to commit to the sequel while The Haven is still homeless. Once it's in the foster care of a good agent, I'll be able to return my attention to writing.
I know my faithful readers will want to know what is in store for Gavin, so instead of sending an email to all five of you, I will post my plans here on the blog.
1. Those who died or were arrested in The Haven will not be in The Sequel.
2. Alastair Johns will play a bigger role in The Sequel.
3. Gavin's group of conspirators will grow.
4. Gavin will venture into previously unmentioned sectors of the Haven.
Well, that's it for now. I still have a lot of plot uncertainties which will most assuredly be worked out during evening walks. (It works every time.)

In addendum, I got a nice bit of plot worked out while administering the AP exams last week.
